By 9:30am on Sunday October 18, there was plenty of activity and quite a crowd at Spice Beach in Lovina waiting for the start of the sail boat race. This event was supported by:

• Rotary Club of Bali Lovina
• Spice Dive
• The Lovina pages
• Tropis Bistro & Bar
• Desa Kaliasem

Many of the boats had been specially painted and decorated with details of their sponsor. The boats left in 3 groups with the first group departing soon after 10am. The fastest 3 boats from each group then went into the final race. And our boat was the winner!
