Patrick Van Kampen on Funding for the Spectacles Project |

The guest speaker today was Patrick Van Kampen from Rotary Club of Bali Seminyak. He reviewed the way that funds from the Rotary Foundation came back to the clubs. Some of these funds available to clubs are not used and can then become available to other projects within the same district. So, in this way, some funds are already available for the Spectacles project, and another grant is likely to be available soon. So we wil work closely work with Patrick and clubs in the south to manage the North Bali part of this project. What our club needs to do is provide information about which optometrist we will use for the project in North Bali, which schools and the cost per pair of spectacles. Patrick wll use this information to complete the submissions necessary to access the funds that are available.
