Receiving the Shoreline Breakfast Banner |
|

Archie as Acting President receives the banner from the Rotary Club of Shoreline Breakfast - which is 20 Km north of Seattle. This is the club that recently donated funds to provide a baby incubator for the Lovina Crisis Care Centre. A group of people from Shoreline, including some Rotarians visited Lovina, but unfortunately were unable to attend a meeting of our club. But Joe Bozick did come to the Sunset drinks on Friday 27th, and he provided the banner which was handed to Archie at today's meeting. Conchita had talked with Joe and summarised the discussion at today's meeting. |

Banner Exchanges - June 23, 10 |

Judith Schneider, and Bill Schneider (on the right) are members of an American Rotary Club in Foster City, California. They split their time between California and Ubud - so while in Bali they are visitors to the Ubud Club. (Bill reminded us that you can only be a member of one Rotary Club, but then you can visit any number of other clubs.)
Conny Bevis (on the left/ is a member of the Clinton Rotary Club in Connecticut. At age 79 she has recently become a member, although she has a long association with Rotary. Her grandfather and late husband were members and she attended a Rotary International Convention - in Atlanta in 1970 I think.
So President Robbie (in the centre - and at his last meeting as President) did two banner exchanges at the same time. |
