March is Literacy Month on the Rotary Calendar. PDF Print E-mail
Sunday, 28 February 2010 16:00

Being literate means being able to comprehend the instructions on a medicine bottle, a set of directions, or a job posting”. Literacy means being part of the larger society. It means inclusion, and it means empowerment”. (Excerpt from G.E. Estess Sr., Foundation trustee chair, March 2010 message on literacy.)

On the Rotary Web site you can read Guide to Literacy Service Projects and Awards for Clubs
