The District Conference 3400 was held in Sanur,  Bali this year. 

We had a nice three day trip to the South and met with hundreds of new and old Rotary friends and partners from all over the country and abroad. The Conference was informative and well organized.  The dinners were great and attended by many.

It is incredible to see how many projects are going on in our District that are organized by our Rotary Clubs. Projects in the field of; water, dengue fever, reforestation, , disaster managment (shelterboxes), thallasemia, blindness from cataracts, cleft palates and many more. Also it is amazing to see how generous Rotarians in our ditsrict are donating to the Rotary Foundation. This way we can all help our Foundation to continue carrying out humanitarian projects like the fight againts Polio.  Rotary friends of many countries were present.

Next year will be the last time we will be togther at one District Conference with our whole country. This will be in Bandung and five of our members have already registered. In 2012 our beloved Ditsrict will be split up in two districts. This will be a pilot for a couple of years which we all hope that will succeed. However we will miss seeing all our fellow Rotarians that will be in another Ditsrict at the Conferences.
