Through a District Simplified Grant Rotary Club of Kenwick was able to provide the financial support to provide, reading books, study materials like globes and world maps and teaching materials for teachers. The first school to profit from the project was the State elementary School Number TWO in the remote village of Lemukih. On December 10, President David and Education committee members Keith drove to Lemukih to deliver a car full of books and other school materials.

They were welcomed by the children, teachers and parents of the children. The school received classroom libraries for all the classrooms, world maps, dictionaries, encyclopedia, and atlases for each classroom as well as a large globe for the all classrooms to use. For the teachers there were special topic books and teacher books on many different subjects like sports, biology, history and geography.David and Keith had difficulties to find the school first since it is located in a remote area. The dirt roads leading up to the school were flooded and turned into mud because of the heavy rainfall. The last 50 meters they had to walk, to later return to the car and carry the boxes with educational materials on their shoulders. All were tired but very happy at the end of the morning. Education Committee representative Keith reported parents thanking Rotary Club of Bali Lovina for this donation, saying:  "…this (donation) will make an incredible difference in the lives of our children, since in this village we have never had the opportunity to read books before………….”.
