History of our Club
Sept 2006 - A group of local business and professional people meet to plan for a local Rotary Club of Bali Lovina.
July-2007 - The Rotary Club of Bali Lovina was chartered as the 100th Rotary Club of Indonesia by the Governor of Rotary District 3400 (Indonesia), Augustine (Gus) Goh.
June 2008 - the first board, now 1 year old, handed over to the incoming board on June 28. Since this date coincided with a Rotary celebration in South Bali to mark 25 years of Rotary in Bali, club members travelled south and conducted the hand-over at that anniversary event.
August 2008 - First major fund-raising event. This raised some funds for a school bus, these were added to by Bali Beach Garden Projects, and this provided the "matching" component needed to get a further grant from the Wild Geese Foundation in The Netherlands.
December 2008 - a Xmas fund-raiser obtained funds to buy a projector for AIDS awareness
March 2009 - Rotoractor visit
July 2009 - Board changeover
